The Prayer Garden Shrine at Our Lady of Fatima

This beautiful, historic shrine graces the small garden behind the church building of Our Lady of Fatima Byzantine Catholic Church in the Outer Richmond district of San Francisco. Inside the shrine hangs a large, hand-painted icon of Our Lady of Fatima. The shrine is dear to all our parishioners and attracts visitors from all walks of life, who are welcome to enter the little garden to partake of the heavenly atmosphere.

With the help of generous donors and the community's elbow grease, the parish has restored both the shrine and the icon. The shrine was rededicated on August 23, 2009.
